shaksha ke mahatva ko praranbh se hi svikar kiya gaya hai. shikshit vyakti hi svayan ka vikas karne ke sath-sath samaj aur desh ke vikas men bhi sahyog kar sakta hai. shiksha sabhi vyaktiyon ke liye avashyak mani gai hai. vartaman men shiksha ke mahattva ko bhali prakar se samjha ja sakta hai kintu prachinkal men bhi shiksha ke mahattva ko bhali prakar se svikar kiya gaya tha. hamare vidvan rishi-maharshiyon ne adhikadhik vyaktiyon ko shikshit hone par bal diya tha. yahi karan hai ki shiksha ko atyant avashyak mante huye ise solah sanskaron men sthan diya gaya hai. tab shiksha ka svarup bhinna tha. us samay vyavsayik kshetra men age barhne ke liye nahin apitu vedon tatha anya dharmagranthon ke adhyayn ke liye shiksha ko avashyak mana gaya tha. vastav men is sanskar ko vidyaranbh sanskar mana jana chahiye kyonki vidya prapti ke pashchat hi vyakti vedon athva anya dharmagranthon ka adhyayan karne men saksham ho pata tha. tab shiksha ka mahattva vedadhyayan ki drishti se adhik tha. is karan is sanskar ko vidyaranbh sanskar athva vedaranbh sanskar ke rup men jana jata hai. vedon tatha anya dharmagranthon ke adhyayan se hamen inke bare men purna jankari prapt hoti thi. is drishti se ise vedaranbh sanskar ke nam se hi adhik jana gaya hai. vedadhyayn ke mahattva ko is prakar se vyakta kiya gaya hai. vidyaya lupyate papan vidyaya'yuah pravardhate. vidyaya sarvasiddhiah syadvidyaya'mritamashrute.. arthat ved vidya ke adhyayan se sare papon ka lop hota hai arthat pap samapt ho jate hain, ayu ki vriddhi hoti hai, samast siddhiyan prapta hoti hain, yahan tak ki uske samaksha amrit-ras akshanapan ke rup men upalabdh ho jata hai. anek vidvan vedaranbh sanskar ko aksharagyan sanskar ke sath jorkr dekhte hain. unke anusar aksharon ka gyan prapt kiye bina n to vedon ka adhyayan kiya ja sakta hai aur n shastron ka lekhan karya sanbhv hai. isliye ve vedaranbh sanskar se purva akshararanbh sanskar par bal dete hain. is bare men anek vidvanon ka vichar hai ki praranbh men to vyakti ko akshar (lipi) ka gyan nahin tha. isliye tab gurumukh dvara hi vedon ka adhyayan kiya jata tha. iske pashchat dhire-dhire vyakti ne lipi ka gyan prapt karna praranbh kiya aur kalantar men ismen vikas hota chala gaya. vidvanon ke matanusar bhagvan buddh ke samay men anek lipiyan prachlit thin aur manushya ko lipi ka achcha gyan prapt tha. bhagvan shrikrishn ne shrimadbhagavat gita men likhe aksharon ko shreshth mana hai. aisa mana jata hai ki vedon ka sarbhut ekakshar un pratham akshar tha jisse sabse pahle manushya ka parichay hua. un akshar mantra n hokar ismen bahut adhik vyapkta ka sanchar dikhai deta hai. un ka uchcharan matra karne se dhvaniyon ke spandan ka anubhav hota hai. mahabharat ke lekhan ka kam pratham dev shrignesh dvara sanpurn hua tha. tantrikon dvara aksharon ki puja ki jati hai. isliye vidyadhyayn ke liye akshar ka gyan hona atyant avashyak hai.

fyuchar samachar patrika ke totke visheshank men vibhinn karyon ke safal hone hetu sahjta tatha sulbhta se kiye jane vale totke diye gaye hain. ye totke am logon ke dvara asani se kiye ja sakte hain. in totkon ko karne se santan sukh, svasthya sukh, ajivika, vaivahik sukh prapt hota hai tatha anisht ka nivaran hota hai. is visheshank men totkon par bahut sare lekh sammilit kiye gaye hain. ye lekh hain: tone-totke kya hain tatha ye kitne karagar hain?, totka vigyan andhvishvas nahin hai, totke tantra ki vishishtata v sutra, santan, svasthya, ajivika evan vaivahik sukh ke lie totke, totkon ka adbhut sansar, janmapatrika ke anishtakari yog evan anisht nivarak totke adi hain. totkon ke alava is visheshank ke masik stambh, samyik charcha, astha, jyotish evan vastu par lekh ullekhniya hain.
