ishvar yani bhagvan ne apne ansh men se panch tatva-bhumi, gagan, vayu, agni aur jal ka samavesh kar manav deh ki rachna ki aur use sampurn yogyataen aur shaktiyan dekr is sansar men jivan bitane ke liye bheja hai. manushya, ishvar ki anupm kriti hai, islie usmen ishvariya gun anand v shanti adi to hone hi chahiye jisse vah ishvar (bhagvan) ko hamesha yad rakhe. manushya ko yadi in panchatatvon ke bare men samjhaya jata to shayad use samjhne men adhik samay lagta, isliye hamare manishiyon ne in panchatatvon ko sada yad rakhne ke liye ek asan tarika nikala aur kaha ki yadi manushya ishvar athva bhagvan ko sada yad rakhe to in panch tatvon ka dhyan bhi bana rahega. unhonne panchatatvon ko kisi ko bhagvan ke rup men to kisi ko alailah arthat allah ke rup men yad rakhne ki shiksha di. unke dvara bhagvan men aye in aksharon ka vishleshan is prakar kiya gaya hai- bhagvan: bha-bhumi yani prithvi, ga- gagan yani akash, va- vayu yani hava, a- agni arthat ag aur na- nir yani jal. isi prakar alailah (allah) aksharon ka vishleshan is prakar kiya gaya hai: a- ab yani pani, la- lab yani bhumi, i- ila- divya padarth arthat vayu, a- asman yani gagan aur ha- hark- yani agni. in panch tatvon ke sanchalan va samanvay se hamare sharir men sthit chetna (pranashakti) bijli- si hoti hai. isse utpann vidyut mastishka men pravahit hokar mastishk ke 2.4 se 3.3 arab koshon ko sakriya aur niyamit karti hai. ye kosh ati sukshm rom ke sadrish evan kanghe ke danton ki tarah pankti men jame hue hote hain. mastishk ke kosh panch prakar ke hote hain aur panch mahabhuton (prithvi, jal, agni, vayu evan akash) ka pratinidhitva karte hain. mulrup se ye sab mul tatva hamare sharir men barabr matra men rahne chahiye. jab inmen thori-si bhi garbri hoti hai ya kisi ek tatva men truti a jane ya vriddhi ho jane se dusre tatvon men garbri ati hai to sharir men rog utpann ho jate hain. in panch mahabhuton ka hamare manishiyon ne is prakar vishleshn kiya hai- prithvi tatva yah tatva asim sahnshilta ka dyotak hai aur isse manushya dhan-dhanya se paripurn hota hai. iske trutipurna hone se log svarthi ho jate hain. jal tatva yah tatva shitlta pradan karta hai. ismen vikar ane se saumyata kam ho jati hai. agni tatva yah tatva vicharashakti men sahayk banta hai aur mastishk ki bhed antr parkhne vali shakti ko saral banata hai. yadi ismen truti a jay to hamari sochne ki shakti ka hras hone lagta hai. vayu tatva yah tatva mansik shakti tatha smarana shakti ki kshamata v najakat ko poshan pradan karta hai. agar ismen vikar ane lage to smaran shakti kam hone lagti hai. akash tatva yah tatva sharir men avashyak santuln banaye rakhta hai. ismen vikar ane se ham sharirik santulan khone lagte hain. charak sanhita ke anusar panchatatvon ke samayojan se svad bhi bante hain: mitha- prithvi jal; khara - prithvi agni; khatta- jal agni, tikha- vayu agni; kasaila - vayu jal; karva- vayu akash.
