ashunya shayan vrat pan. brajkishor sharma ‘brajvasi’ bhavishya puran men ashunya shayan vrat ki mimansha ki gai hai. is vrat ka anushthan shravan mas ke krishn paksh ki dvitiya tithi se praranbh hota hai. is vrat ko karne se stri vaidhavya tatha purush vidhur hone ke pap se mukt ho jata hai. yah vrat sabhi manokamnaon ko purn karne vala tatha moksh pradata hai. is vrat ka vidhan stri evan purush donon ke lie hi hai. ashunya shayan ka arth hai - stri ka shayan pati se shunya tatha pati ka shayan patni se shunya nahin hota. donon ka hi yavajjivan vishuddh sahacharya bana rahta hai. bhagvan vishnu ke sath lakshmi ka nitya-nirantar sahacharya rahta hai. islie pati-patni ke nitya sahacharya ke lie donon ko ashunya shayan vrat men shravan krishn dvitiya tithi ko lakshmi sahit bhagvan vishnu ki murti ko vishisht shayya par adhosthapit kar anek upcharon dvara unka pujan karna chahie. vrati ko chahie ki shravan krishn dvitiya ko pratah snanadi nitya karmon se nivritt ho vidhivat sankalp lekar shrivatsachihn yukt char bhujaon se vibhushit, shesh shayya par sthit lakshmi sahit bhagvan ka shodshopchar pujan kare. din bhar maun rahe, vrat rakhe aur sayankal punah snan karke bhagvan ka shaynotsav manae. fir chandroday hone par aghryapatra men jal, fal, pushp aur gandhakshat rakhakar nimnankit mantra   se bhagvan ko aghrya de. gagnanganasandip kshirabdhimthnodbhav. bhabhasitadigabhog ramanuj namo'stu te.. he ramanuj ! apke yugal charnarvindon ka darshan karke mainne samast punya karmon ka fal prapt kar liya.’ vamdev ji ne raja ka vidhivat satkar kar kushal kshem puchi. tab raja rukmangad ne kaha- ‘bhagavan ! mere man men bahut dinon se ek sanshay hai. main usi ke vishay men apse puchta hun, kyonki ap sab sandehon ka nivaran karne vale brahman shiromni hain. mujhe kis satkarm ke fal se tribhuvan sundar patni prapt hui hai, jo sada mujhe apni drishti se kamdev se bhi adhik sundar dekhti hai. param sundri devi sandhyavli jahan-jahan pair rakhti hain, vahan-vahan prithvi chipi hui nidhi prakashit kar deti hai. vah sada sharadkal ke chandrama ki prabha ke saman sushobhit hoti hai. vipravar ! bina ag ke bhi vah shadras bhojan taiyar kar leti hai aur yadi thori bhi rasoi banati hai to usmen karoron manushya bhojan kar lete hain. vah pativrata, danshila tatha sabhi praniyon ko sukh dene vali hai. uske garbh se jo putra utpann hua hai, vah sada meri agya ke palan men tatpar rahta hai. dvijashreshth !
