anadi kal se hi hindu dharm men anek prakar ki manyataon ka samavesh raha hai. vicharon ki prakhrta evan vidvanon ke nirantar chintan se manyataon v asthaon men bhi parivartan hua. kya in manyataon v asthaon ka kuch vaigyanik adhar bhi hai? yah prashn baranbar buddhijivi pathkon ke man ko kachotta hai. dharmagranthon ko uddhrit karke‘ ‘babavakya pramanam’ kahne ka yug ab samapt ho gaya hai. dharmik manyataon par samyak chintan karna aj ke yug ki atyant avashyak pukar ho chuki hai. prashna: sandhya kyon karen? uttara: ‘‘ahrhah sandhya upasit’’-ved stri, shudra, dvij matra ko pratidin sandhyopasna karni chahiye. manusmriti kahti hai ki jo shubh karmon men bahishkar karne yogya hai. sandhya hamare nitya karm ka mukhya ang hai. laukik evan parlaukik donon hi drishti se sanghya karne se svasthya, shakti, medha aur dirgh jivan ki kuji prapt hoti hai. sandhya ek prakar se prarambhik evan anivarya prayashchit karm hai. iske pashchat hi ishvar-upasna sanbandhi kiye gae karyon men hi saflta milti hai. sandhya ke das ang hain- 1. sankalp, 2. asan, shodhan 3. achaman, 4. pranayam, 5. nitya krit papakshamarth apamupasparsh, 6. avmrith, 7. agharshan, 8. surya-aghrya, 9. suryopasthan, 10. gayatrijapash sh prashna: shikha kyon rakhen? uttara: yajurved kahta hai ‘yashse shriye shikha’ kirti aur shobha ke nimitt shikha dharan karen. atah sandhya vandan, gayatri-jap, yagyanushthan men sarvapratham shikha hona avashyak hai. dvijmatra ke liye shikha hona dharmashastra ka adesh hai dharmashastron ka adesh hai ki gayatri mantra se shikha bandhakar hi sandhya-vandan, yagya-anushthan adi dharmik krityon men pravritt hon. shikha sthal par brahmarandhra (dasham dvar) hota hai. yah marmasthal jara-sa upadrut hone se manushya ki tatkal mrityu ho jati hai. is dasham dvar ki suraksha hetu vaidik vigyan ke anusar gokhurakar shikha rakhne ke nirdesh milte hain. dharmanushthan men uparjit adhyatmik shakti ka vinash n ho, etadarth dvar band karne ki bhanti ganth lagani avashyak hai. shikha ek prakar se parabrahm parmatma se sampark sthapit karne hetu ‘aintena’ ka kam karti hai. vidyut shastra ka atal siddhant hai ki nukile padarth vidyut shakti ka bhedan karte hain. atah ganth lagana vidyut siddhant par adharit prakriya hai. prashna: kush ka asan kyon? uttara: dharmashastron men likha hai- nasya keshan pravapanti, norsi tadmadhnate. kush dharan karne se sir ke bal nahin girte, chati men aghat nahin hota. arthat achanak ‘hart ataik’ nahin hota. yah dushit vatavaran ko shuddh karta hai. kush (darbha) nan kandaktar padarth hai. yah vidyut sankraman men badhak hai. parthiv vidyut pravah panvon ke marg se manvpind men sanchit adhyatmik shakti ko khinchakar vinasht kar deta hai. uski rok-tham ke lie panvon ke niche asan vichana iska vaigyanik adhar hai. prashna: dharmik anushthanon men kush nirmit anguthi (pavitri) hathon men kyon pahnte hain? uttara: kush-dharan ka mukhya prabhav ved ne ayushya-vriddhi evan dushit vatavaran ko vinasht karna batlaya hai. antah ise dharmik karyon men jal v anya padarthon ke pavitrikaran hetu hath men bhi pahnte hain. jap, puja-path v anushthan ke samay prapt sanchit shakti ki raksha asan v panvon men khadaun pahanakar hi ki jati hai. atah yadi hathon dvara sharir men pravisht hone vale ‘ishvar’ se atma-raksha n ki jay, to iska mastishk v hriday par bura prabhav parta hai. hath dvara shakti-panuj ‘artha’ n ho jae islie hath men bhi kush mudrika dharan karne ka vidhan rakha. agar galti se hath jamin par par bhi jay to prithvi se ‘kush’ ka hi sparsh hoga, hath ka nahin.
