shri kurm jayanti v vrat (06.05.2012) pan. brajkishor sharma brajvasi shri kurm jayanti v vrat vaishakh shukla purnima ko manaya jata hai. matantar se vaishakh krishn amavasya shri hari anant hariktha ananta ke anusar manya hai. samudra-manthan ke samay kurm bhagvan ka prakatya samudra ke andar sayankal ki bela men dev danvon ki sahaytarth hua tha. karmon ke sakushal sanchalan ki nirvighnata ke lie v jalachar jivon se raksharth is vrat ka palan avashya karna chahie. rog-shokadi ke nivarnarth tatha dharma-artha-kam-moksh rupi purusharthon ki prapti hetu is din pratahkal men dainik kriyaklapon se karen. bhagvan kurm lilavataran charitra: ‘jis samay bhagvan ne kachchap rup dharan kiya tha aur unki pith par bara bhari mandrachal mathani ki tarah ghum raha tha, us samay mandrachal ki chattanon ki nok se pith ke khujlaye jane ke karan bhagvan ko tanik sukh mila. unhen nind-si ane lagi aur unke shvas ki gati thori barh gayi. us samay us shvas-vayu se jo samudra ke jal ko dhakka laga tha, uska sanskar aj bhi usmen shesh hai. aj bhi samudra usi shvas vayu ke thaperon ke falasvarup jvar-bhaton ke rup men din-rat charhta-utrta rahta hai, use ab tak vishram n mila. bhagvan ki vahi param prabhavshali shvas vayu ap logon ki raksha kare.’ ek bar bhagvan shankar ke anshavtar maharshi durvasa ne sanand prithvi tal par vicharan karte hue ek vidyadhri ke hath men atyant suvasit mala ko karo. tumhen nishchay hi sufal prapt hoga; par alasya aur pramad tyag shighra hi amrit prapti ke lie prayatn karo.’ liladhari prabhu vahin anrtadhyan ho gaye. indradi devta daityaraj bali ke samip pahunche. buddhiman indra ne unhen apne bandhutva ka smaran karaya aur bhagvan ke adeshanusar bali se amrit-prapti ke lie samudra-manthan ki bat kahi. ‘amrit men devtaon aur daityon ka saman bhag hoga’- is labh ki drishti se daityeshvar bali ne surendra ka prastav svikar kar liya. vahan upasthit anya senapti shanbar, arishtanemi aur tripurnivasi daityon ne bhi iska samarthan kiya. fir to vasuki ki neti banayi. sarvapratham unhen dekhakar anya devta bhi vasuki ke mukh ki or chale gaye. daityon ne virodh karte hue kaha- ‘punch sarp ka ashubh ang hai. ‘ham ise nahin pakrenge’ aur kachchapavtar bhagvan ki ek lakh yojan vistrit pith par mandrgiri upar uth gaya. devta aur daitya samudra-manthan karne lage. bhagvan adi kachchap ki suvistrit pith par mandrgiri atyant tivrata se ghum raha tha aur shribhgvan ko aisa pratit hota tha, jaise koi unki pith khujla raha hai. samudra-manthan ka karya sanpann ho jay, etadarth shribhgvan shakti-sanvarddhan ke lie asuron men asur rup se, devtaon men devrup se aur vasuki nag men nidra rup se pravisht ho gaye. itna hi nahin, ve mandrgiri ko upar se dusre mahan parvat ki bhanti apne hathon se dabakar sthit ho gaye. shribhgvan ki is lila ko dekhakar brahma, shiv aur indradi devagan stuti karte hue unke upar divya pushpon ki vrishti karne lage. is prakar kachchapavtar shribhgvan ki pith par mandrachal sthir hua aur unhin ki shakti se samudra manthan hua. bhagvan kachchap lilavataran charitra: pralay men bhagvan shesh-shayya par yog-nidra ka ashray kiye hue the. unke sharir se adyashakti prakat hui. usi se is brahmand ke brahma, bhagvan vishnu ne unhane mar dala. un daityon ke med se medini-prithvi bani. unki asthiyan parvat banin. prithvi ko sthir karne ke lie bhagvan ne kachchap rup dharan kiya. bhagvan ke avtar nitya hain. vahi prabhu prithvi ko dharan karte hain, vahi mandar dharan karke amrit-manthan ke hetu bante hain. vahi manushya ki ghriti bante hain aur tabhi manav akshay dham ke path men sthir hota hai. ve hi sabke adhar hain.’ japniya mantra: un namo naraynay. un purnanandakachchapay namah. un siddhisadhan kurmay namah. un dharadhray namah un vishnave namah. ratri men jagaran karte hue uprokt mantron ka jap karen. kurm bhagvan ne jis prakar dev-danvon ka karya sadhan kar dharm ki sthapna ki, usi prakar vrati ke karyon ka sadhan bhi bhagvan kachchap ki kripa se avashya hi hota hai. kurm bhagvan ka svarup ghar men rakhne v pujan karne se sanpurn manorthon ki siddhi karne vala hai.
