sanbandhit bimariyan, mandagni adi shankh bajane se thik ho jati hain, jo log bachapan se hi niyamit rup se shankh bajate rahte hain tatha jinka bhojan, achar-vichar aur acharan satvik hota hai, unhen uprokt bimariyan nahin hoti hain. yahi nahin ghar mane shankh rakhne se pratah v sanykal bajane se vastu-dosh svatah samapt ho jata hai. savere aur sham ko shankh bajane ke bhinna-bhinn karan hain. achchi ati hai. kintu kuch savdhan bhi rahen: shankh bajane se fefron par adhik jor parta hai, ataev kshay, shvans-dama-asthama tatha hriday rogiyon ko shankh bajana varjit hai. iske atirikt chote nad se gyan-vriddhi hoti hai. adhyayan kaksh men rakhne se smaran shakti barhti hai. pujan ke pashchat shankh men rakhe gangajal ko ghar men chirkne se sabhi prakar ki buri shaktiyon v baiktiriyon ka nash hota hai. devi bhagavat ke anusar upasna karte samay ravivar chorakar shankh par navin tulsi dal arpit karne se pati-patni men dampatya prem tatha ayushyavarddhan hota hai. puja sthal par kabhi do shankh n rakhen tatha bhumi par shankh n rakhen. ghar ke ishan kon (purva-uÿar) men gangajal se bhare patra par shankh ki sthapna tatha uÿar disha men uske dhara- mukh ko rakhne se samriddhi barhti hai.
