Rudraksha is a Sanskrit word. If we split this word into two we get these two words Rudra and Aksha. Rudra means Lord Shiva and Aksha means Aansu(tears) of Lord Shiva. According to Hindu Mythology tears of Shiva fell on earth in the form of Rudraksha tree. The Rudraksha tree belongs to Elaecarpaceae family and is as huge as the Banyan tree which has seed covered with pulp and outer skin. After drying the skin turns black and grooves appear on the surface running from apex to the bottom, there by demarcating clear areas called ‘Mukha or faces’. The Rudraksha are classified on the basis of number of faces, which can range from one to twenty one. Gauri-Ganesh Rudraksha : Gauri-Ganesh Rudraksha has some very significant and special characteristics and it is attached to divinity. This divine piece of Rudraksha is worn to beget the extraordinary child endowed with talent, intelligence and all inherent qualities. One who wears this Rudraksha is blessed with a genius child and gets love, allegience and obedience from the child. Gauri-Ganesh Rudraksha should be worn preferably on Monday and Friday with the recitation of the following mantra for 108 times after deeping it into cow milk and thereafter in Ganga Jal. Mantra - ‘Om Hrin Grin Hrin’! 1 Mukhi Rudraksha : 1 Mukhi Rudraksha also called one faced Rudraksha is said to be the forrm of lord Shiva and considered to be the emblem of divine grace. Whosoever uses this 2 Mukhi Rudraksha, all his wishes and desires get fulfilled. It brings prosperity in business and work and leads to the attainment of moksha. 2 Mukhi Rudraksha has the inherent potential to wipe out all the papakarmas committed in this life time or in the past births and make the person free from every type of sickness and disease including the incurable and chronic diseases. This Rudraksha is specifically beneficial for the natives born in Cancer lagna. Wearing this Rudraksha one gets mental peace, mental stability, happiness and it also leads to inclination towards spirituality.
