janmashtami ke din, shri krishna janmotsav ke upalakshya men, mandiron ko nav vadhu (dulhana) ki bhanti sajaya jata hai. bhagvan ke vigrahon ko advitiya shringar se purn kiya jata hai. bhagvan ke vibhinn lila charitron ki alaukik chataon se yukt vishesh jhankiyan bhi mandiron men, darshanarthiyon ke darshanarth sajayi jati hain. bhagvan shri krishn ke agaman par sundr-sundr marakat maniyon se khachit svarn, rajat, chandan aur anyanya prakar ke palne vibhinn prakar ke patra-pushpadi (kaml-cham eli-v ela-kad nb-g ulab genda) se susajjit kiye jate hain, jismen bhagvan shrikrishn ke bal rup ko bhaktajan, reshmi dori ko khinch kar, jhulate hue, apne manav jivan ko kritarth kar, papon se mukta ho jate hain. mandiron aur palnon ke chahun or evan margon par bijli se chalit vibhinna prakar ki lariyon, balbon aur adhunik saj-sajja se yukt golakar murtinuma, tribhujakar, aytakar, shatvlyyuktadi manmohak chitra, vichitra svachalit yantrane-khilaunon ko is prakar sthan-sthan par bhavya rup se sthit kar diya jata hai ki bhakt janon ka man barabas hi udhr khinch jata hai aur, us jagat ke kshanik rup saundarya ka netron se pan karta hua, vah vahan pahunch jata hai, jahan jan-jan ke aradhya, bhagvan shri krishn ka vigrah virajman hota hai. bhakt us svarup ko ek tak dekhta hi rah jata hai. vah apni sudh-budh kho deta hai. shrikrishn ka divya ashirvad prapt kar bhakt bhav vibhor ho, nritya, gayan, vadan ki kriraon men sahaj hi pravisht ho jata hai. mandiron men shrimad bhagavat katha, bhajan, sangit adi ke karyakram bhi bari hi dhumdham se ayojit kiye jate hain. shri krishn ki janm katha: dvapar yug men jab prithvi papiyon, atyachariyon, dushton, rakshason ke bhar se dabne lagi evan attayi kansadi ki krurta nagn tandav nritya karne lagi tatha brahmanon, santon, gayon par atyachar hone lage, svargadi men asuron ka samrajya sthapit hone laga tab prithvi mata gay ka rup dharan kar, srishtikarta vidhata ke pas ja kar, apni marmantak pira ke ashru pravahit netron se yukt ho, vani ke dvara bakhan karne lagi. srishtikarta brahma ji ne sabhi devtaon ke sammukh prithvi ke karun krandnrup katha ko suna diya. tab brahma ji ke sath sabhi devagan, gau ko sath le kar, vishnu ke pas aye. brahma ji ne prithvi man ki vedna ko kah kar uske nivaran ke lie prarthana ki. vishnu ji ne prithvi evan devgnon se kaha ki main svayan shighra hi braj mandl men, kans ke karagar men, vasudev gop ki bharya kans ki chacheri bahan devki ke garbh se janm lunga. atah tum bhi, unki lila men sahayak banne ke lie, yadu vansh men apna-apna sharir dharan karo. sabhi devta tatha prithvi braj men a kar nand, yashoda, gop, gopi, vriksh, lata, patakadi ke rup men paida hue. kuch din vyatit hue. ahuk ke putra devak ke 4 putra (devvan, updev, sudev, devavardhana) tatha 7 kanyaon (dhritdeva, shantideva, updeva, shrideva, devarakshita, sahdeva, devki) evan devk ke bhai ugrasen se 9 putron (kans, tushtaman, sunama, srishti, nyagrodh, kank, shanku, suhu, rashtrapal) evan 5 kanyaon (kansa, kansvti, keka, surbhu, rashtrapalika) ka janm hua. devmirh ke putra shur ki patni marisha se, vasudev sahit 10 putron ka janma hua. inhin ka dusra nam ank dundubhi tha, kyonki vasudev ke janma ke samay nagare, naubat svayan bajne lage the. vasudev hi shri krishn ke pita bane. devak ki saton kanyaon ka vivah vasudev ke sath hua. kans apne chacha ki choti larki devki ko, vivah hone par, sasural pahunchane ja raha tha raste men akashvani hui tum jise itne pyar evan utsah se pahunchane ja rahe ho, usi ka athvan putra tera kal hoga!’ is akashvani se balshali kans chainka. digvijay kans mrityu ke bhay se akrant ho utha. kayrta ke bhavon ne man, antahkaran, buddhi ko kunthit kar diya. vah apni ladli, dulari, snehmyi bahan ka vadh karne ko udyat ho gaya. myan se talvar nikali hi thi ki vasudev ji kans ko dharmopdesh dene lage ki he kans ! abla par shastra prahar karna viron ki virta nahin hai. nari jati ka vadh karna dharm shastra ke viruddh hai. aise nindniya kritya ke dvara apysh aur ninda ka patra banna parega. ap vir purush hain. devki se koi bhay tumhen nahin hai. yadi bhay hai, to devki ke athven lal se. vasudev ji ne sadyojat shishu kans ko dene ka vachan diya aur devki ke pranon ki raksha ki. unhonne pativrat dharm ka palan kiya. vasudev aur devki vida ho gaye. shishu ka janma hua. balak ko le kar vasudev kans ke pas aye. kans ne balak ko kar kamlon men le kar nihara aur vapas vasudev ko yah kah kar de diya ki mera kal athvan balk hai. isse mujhe koi bhay nahin hai. vasudev prasann hriday se balak ko le kar laut gaye. devarshi narad lok kalyan ki kamna se vichar karne lage ki yadi kans devki ke balkon ka vadh nahin karega, to adharm kaise hoga? devarshi vina ko bajate hue, shriman narayn ka dhyan kar, vahan se chale gaye. kans vah hai, jo dusron ka sukh-chain lut le. krishn vah hai, jo dusron ka duahkh-dard lut le. kans ki buddhi bhrasht ho gayi. usne devki ke balak ko godi se chin liya aur use maut ke ghat utar diya aur vasudev-devki ko karagar men band kar diya. virodh karne par apne hi pita ugrasen ko bhi usne bandi banaya. vah svayan mathura ka naresh ban gaya. bachche hote, to satyabhiru vasudev ji use kans ke sammukh la kar rakh dete, jise vah utha kar shila par patak deta. hatya se shilatl kalushit hota gaya. 6 shishu mare. satven garbh men bhagvan shesh padhare. yogmaya ne unhen akarshit kar ke gokul men rohini ke garbh men pahuncha diya. jagat men shor mach gaya. devki ka satvan balak gir gaya. ashtam garbh men akhilesh aya. devon ne devki ko ashvast kiya ki nav mas purn hone par purna purushottam bhagvan ka avtar hoga. kans abhimani hai. jivmatra ko band kiye rahta hai. sabhi jiv sansarrupi karagar men band hanai. vasudev shuddha satva gun svarup hai. vishuddh chitt hi vasudev hai. nishkam buddhi hi devki hai. vasudev karagar men jagte hain. devki ke athven garbh ki bat jan kar kans savdhan ho gaya. usne unhen vishesh karagar men dal kar kara pahra lagva diya. kans ke karagar men, bhadra krishna ashtami ki meghachchann ardhanisha ko, rohini nakshatra, chandroday ke sath charon purushartha- dharm, arth, kam, moksh ko siddh karne vale chaturbhuj svarup le kar shri krishn prakat hue. shankh, chakra, gada, padmadhari bhagvan ke tejomay prakash se karagar prakashit ho gaya. vasudev-devki ka jivan dhanya ho gaya. puran purushottam ki stuti karne lage. bandiyon ke netra dhanya ho gaye. liladhari bhagvan ki yah lila dekh vasudev-devki unke charnon men gir pare. bhagvan kahne lage: mataji ! main to apka balak hun. devki ne hans kar kaha: balak to chota hota hai. ap to chaturbhuj svarup hain. chote balak ban gaye prabhu. devki se kahaah ab to putra sneh do. devki ne punah kaha: balak to nange hote hain. tumne to vastra dharan kiye hain. mata ko parmatma ne samjhaya: main to islie vastra pahan kar aya hun ki mama to mujhe marne ko baitha hai. fir kurta-topi kaun layega? mata ne kaha: beta, dhire-dhire bolo. kans ne sun liya, to daurta hua a jaega. shri krishn kahne lage: mate ! yadi kans se darti ho, to kans ka matha for dun. main yahan dar kar rahna nahin chahta, so mujhe gokul pahuncha do. dekhte-dekhte bhagvan nagn shishu ban gaye. vasudev-devki mohit ho gaye. shishu ko pyar karne lage. mata stan pan karane lagi. shrinkhlaen svatah shithil huin. dvar unmukt hua. vasudev ji us hridy dhan ko gokul ja kar nand bhavan men rakh aye. kans ko mili yashoda ki kanya aur jab yogmaya kans kanya ko shilatal par patak raha tha, tabhi vah gagan men sayudhabharan ashtabhuja ho kar boli: he kans ! tumhen marne vala to gokul men bahut samay purva hi paida ho chuka hai. gokul ki galiyon men anand umra. anandaghan nandrani ki god men jo utar aya tha. shandilya rishi ke sath ekadshi mahavrat ki purnata se hi shri krishn ka janm hua hai, jinki charan dhuli ko satpurush apne sir par dharan karne ki ichcha karte hain, fir bhi vah charan raj prapt nahin ho pati. vahi shri krishn aj, yashoda ke angan ki shobha barhate hue, sanpurn braj mandal ko anandit kar rahe hain. kyon n karen? krishnavtar ki ganuj braj mandal men vyapt ho gayi. brajvasi nana bhanti saj-sanvar kar, upayan dete hue, anand mana rahe hain. inhin bhagvan krishn ne putna, trinavart, shaktasur ka uddhar kiya. yaduvansh purohit gargacharya ji ne krishna-balaram ka namkrn sanskar kiya. shri krishn ke jatakarm, annaprashan, keshachchedan, upanayan, vedaranbh, samavartan, vivah, grihashramadi sanskar vidhivat sanpann hue. vividh lilaen jaise makhan chori, mitti bhakshan, ukhal bandhan, chir haran, govardhan dharan, gocharan, davanal pan adi prasiddh lilaen hain. avanti ja kar shri krishn ne sandipni guru se shiksha prapt ki. guru dakshina men guru ka mrit putra punah pradan kar aye. kans vadhoprant jarasandh ka 17 bar parabhav evan kalayavan ko muchkanud ki netragni se bhasm karana, 18vin bar jarasandh ke ane par ran chor kar bhagna aur ranchor nam se prasiddh hona bhi shyam sundar ki advitiya lilaen hain.
