A native will have to face agony if the main gate of his house is not installed on a suitable place. The main gate should be installed on an auspicious occasion. No Vedha should be there in front of the main gate. A worn out house, temple, tree, a pit or gorge and pillar are not considered to be auspicious in front of the main gate. It should be larger than the other gates of the house. There should not be three gates straight in a row. Height of the gate should be more than its width. A gate opening automatically causes frenzy and disease whereas the one closing automatically causes destruction of the family. Gate that closes making sound causes fear.

  6. 6. Crematorium - Fear of evil spirits, diseases.
  7. 7. Rock or a large piece of stone - Enmity and fear of gall stone.
  8. 8. Furnace - Loss of son.
  9. 9. Okhali - Destitution.

Remedies of Vastu

Scholars have mentioned some remedies to overcome Vastu faults. Some advise to perform Vastu Shanti and some to proritiate the planets. Some others advise to adopt remedies mentioned in Tantra-Mantra whereas some to wear Rudraksha.
