When the two planets are aspecting each other and fast moving planet is one or more degrees of longitude ahead of slow moving planet, they produce Isharafa Yoga.

It is an unfavourable yoga and indicate failures and obstacles. If the benefic planets involve in Isharafa yoga it is not so unfavourable. But if it involves the malefic planets it indicates not only failures but also other additional troubles and obstacles.

In the example chart no.4 the Moon the fast moving planet has longitude of 15° and slow moving planet Sun has 10° longitude. Both have conjunctional aspect, but fast moving planet is ahead of slow moving planet. So the yoga formed is Isharafa and indicate failure of the objective if one is lagna lord and other is significator.

When fast moving planet is ahead of slow moving planet but is retrograde does it mean an Ithasala instead of Isharafa? Yes it is an Itahsala yoga. It indicates that the objective will be fulfilled next time.

Nakta Yoga

When there is no aspect between two planets say lagna lord and significator but another fast moving planet than these two is aspecting both the planets i.e. lagna lord and significator then the planets will form Nakta yoga.

Nakta Yoga

Let 'A' and 'B' are two planets having no aspect. The 'C' is another planet, faster moving than the two and have ithasala with 'A' and 'B' planet. In this condition 'A' and

'B' will also have linkage and form Nakta Yoga. The Nakta yoga is necessarily always a beneficial yoga. It involves consideration of the planet involved, lordship and the house occupation of the planets. Nakta yoga indicates the intervention of third party.

The main point in Nakta yoga is :

  • That there is no mutual aspect between the two planets.
  • That the third planet must aspect both the non-aspecting planets, lagnesh and karyesh.
  • That the third planet has to be faster than the both non-aspecting planets, lagnesh and karyesh.

Let us study that chart no. 5

Nakta Yoga

Nakta Yoga

The Venus 5° has no relation with Saturn 10° being ahead. The Moon, the third planet with 2° has square aspect with Saturn and trine aspect with Venus. Moon is faster than Venus and Saturn and is in degrees wise behind the two planets. Thus Nakta yoga is formed between lagna lord Venus and 4th and 5th lord Saturn.

Kamboola Yoga

The Kamboola yoga is formed when there is ithasala between two planets and the Moon is also in Ithasala with either or both of them.

Horary for Beginners

Horary for Beginners

This highly specialized astrological application is very ancient. It deals with specific questions and replies with specific answers. The basis of the horary chart is the time your question is put to the astrologer, and from this a map of the sky is erected. Personal details, such as your date, place and time of birth, are not needed and so, for those who do not have this information, horary provides a method of dealing with problems with difficult situations.
