But in general practice the orb of 8° as the Western Astrologers do, can be allowed for all aspect to be able to come to the safe prediction. For semi sextile and sextile aspects lesser orb of influence is allowed that is 6°.
Let us take Sun 3° and Mars 20° posited in lagna, forming conjunction. There is an apparent conjunction of the Sun and the Mars but the difference between the longitude of Sun and Mars is 17°. The difference is more than average orb of 12.5° or more than 8° . We shall not take the conjunction aspect.

The Tajika system has developed some yogas of aspects which are very effective in making predictions. The Tajik Yogas are for annual horoscope. But still following yogas are helpful in making Horary predictions effective.
- 1. The Ithasala Yoga
- 2. The Isharafa Yoga
- 3. The Nakta Yoga
- 4. The Kamboola Yoga
- 5. The Manau Yoga
- 6. The Khallasara Yoga
- 7. The Rudda Yoga
An Ithasala yoga is caused when a faster moving planet with less longitude is behind a slower moving planet with more longitude.
We should take into account the orb of influence which has been discussed in the chapter on Aspect.
When the Ithasala occurs within half a degree it becomes Muthasila a very favourable yoga. The Ithasala yoga is generally considered to be a beneficial yoga. But in actual practice however it may not be always beneficial. The beneficial or malefic result depends on the natural characteristics and relationship of the two planets and ownership of the houses they enjoy in the horoscope. The presence of this yoga signifies the fulfilment of desired objective.
